Game Reviews: Blast Corps

It seems as though I haven't done a retro game review in A LOOOOOOOOONG time so I've decided to come back to retro game reviews for a little bit.

Now for the image you might not see it at a good quality, but it's about the only good the cover will look. So anyway onto the game itself it's not that bad I quite like it with it's destruction and chaos upon other things. The story goes like this you blow shit up that's it you just go around blowing shit up while helping a explosive truck get to it's destination. It has such vehicles as a tractor, construction truck, Evil Knievel car, and a J-bot or Japanese robot upon 9 other vehicles. Now I don't really have much to say for this game due to you not doing many different things except blow shit up.

Sound

There are many different songs for each level you cause havoc in an destroy every building putting every person in the building either out of a job or out of a home. I don't quite know how many levels there are neither do I know the song names I only know one of the song's names and that's the level selection song "Time to get moving" all and all the music gets a 8 out of 10

Graphics

They're basic N64 graphics almost the same as every other N64 games graphics. 10 out of 10

Gameplay

Now I can't exactly say if they're good or bad due to me playing the game on the emulator Project 64 so I may not experience the controls to the fullest so I'll just say how they are on the emulator 7 out of 10

I give the game a 9 out of 10

Game Reviews: World of Warcraft

Now you may say I'm stupid, go kill yourself, I'm going to murder you, or you haven't gotten FAR enough!

Well for one thing...

3.If you were to kill me you couldn't really kill me due to my IP address not showing where I live.
4.I don't care what you say.
5.I dunno what to say now.

Anyway I just played this game about a day ago just by playing the 10 day trial, luckily I didn't buy this game. So do you think I like it, or do you think I hate it, well both are incorrect I think the game isn't really different from any other ORPG which stands for O.ffline R.ole P.laying G.ame. For one it kind of combines Radiata Stories with Legend of Zelda. Now everyone's been saying "Hey, Demetrius you should play this new game I got so we can play". Or the alternate version of this would be "Hey, do you know of the game World of Warcraft? Cause this is about the greatest game I've ever played" Well I've put this off for about 3 years, and about this time I said "Well due to the fact that a new expansion for the game is coming out, I might give WoW a try". So I downloaded the 10 day trial, as soon as the saving installsion was done I installed it BUT I couldn't play it until the next day due to over 50 patches having to install and still by the time the patches finished I could only play about 37 minutes of it, due to it being my bed time and all. So I get up the next morning and play for a bit and start talking in the game, I said a few words and noone talked AT ALL. So I pretty much went around did 3 tasks got up to level 2 traveled to Orc land and deleted the game. In the time I got UTTERLY bored of the game, due to noone talking and I couldn't find the way back home. But I did like the gameplay/customization/sandbox gameplay/graphics but one thing is that to todays standards the graphics may look a little outdated, but why would I care about graphics I mean since 1994 I've been playing NES to THIS day, but do I care if there's Xbox360/PS3/Wii graphics out there not quite. NES is about one of my favourite systems and will probably always be, BUT OH NO I LIKE 3DO ZOMG!!! So what if I like 3DO you wanna fight? So anyway I give the graphics an 8 out of 10

GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is good same thing as most games I've played on PC go around with WASD keys attack with mouse. I give the gameplay 10 out of 10

CUSTOMIZATION
Sims-like 10 out of 10

But now we must leave from eachother having the final rating of the game. Alas we will meet again. The game gets 6 out of 10

Movie Reviews: The Machine Girl

Now now this is about one of the cheesiest Japanese 2008 films I've seen. The film includes Matrix slow-motion effects/Kill Bill likeness/Sushi/Tempura/Ninjas/Yakuza/Planet Terror likeness/Evil Dead likeness/Drill Bra/Chainsaws/Flying Guillotine/Parents revenging their dead sons from Ami in football uniforms/Violence/Gore/Revenge. This movie has to have about the most things in it making it about one of the most EPIC films I've ever seen, but then the cheesiness arrives with loads of unrealistic gore now although Suicide Circle/Suicide Club had about the same problem that was fixed due to having a SUPERB storyline now I'm not saying this film is bad I'm just saying it's a little cheesy but quite good at the same time. Here's how the story goes a Junior High student named Yu Hyuga (Which is the brother to Ami "The Machine Girl" Hyuga) Yu's friend (Takeshi) is killed along with Yu due to a couple of bullies wanting 200,000 Yen (Which in the US is about 55.6 US dollars) by the next day, Yu runs into the bullies the next day which then starts the chase scene where Yu runs from the bullies to Takeshi's house and get's Takeshi while running from the bullies. But Yu and Takeshi can't run from the bullies making it so a fight scene takes place ending with Yu and Takeshi being thrown off a high building to the ground below. Ami along with Takeshi's mother mourn their deaths so Ami decides to investigate seeing as how the cops say it was a suicide. Ami knowingly does detective work seeing as how the bully leader was in Yakuza. Ami kills a family resulting in her getting to the hideout of the Yakuza resulting in her arm being chopped off by accident due to the Yakuza's leaders wife tripping him and the sword chopping her hand off. The father of Takeshi makes a machine gun arm to replace Ami's sliced off arm to aid her in her revenge. Lastly the film is all revenge and ends with Ami killing all the bad people. Movie Reviews: Battle Royale

I certainty love this movie. Having two genre's Action/Horror. Anyway the story is 42 students go on a school trip not knowing where they're going to, their then gassed by the driver and the bus lady (I forgot what they were called) :/. Soon they wake up with collar's on their necks not knowing whats going on. Sensei Kitano (which is behind the whole situation) explains what "Battle Royale" is which is... (If you take your collar off it explodes) (If you go to a Danger Zone your collar explodes)(If more then one person is alive over 3 days their collar explodes on their neck automattacly killing them) , their names are called for them to get their (Weapon, Food, Water, and Flashlight.) They soon fight to the death using their weapons, one of the guy's hacks the system that uses the collar and turns the collars off so they don't explode.

Movie Reviews: Weekend at Bernie's

Although it's a comedy it was pretty good. Story goes that two guy's that try to make their way into the corporation, as they work for the president of the company (Bernie Lomax). Bernie then asks for them to come to his house at the beach for the weekend but want's them to be killed by the mafia, BUT resulting in the mafia killing Bernie, because he was banging the head of the mafia's wife. The two guys start to pretend that he's not dead. Tons of things start to happen like the hit man trying to re-kill Bernie two times, and by seeing as everyone that sees Bernie thinks he's alive. Movie Reviews: Suicide Circle/Suicide Club

This is one of those movies that have DOUBLE names you could either call it "Suicide Club" or "Suicide Circle", either way it's a damn good movie. The story goes like this 54 high school girls go to the subway and jump onto the rail, detectives start checking this out because something DEFINITELY is going down, the detectives then think that it's either Murders, Cult, or accidental while they start noticing all this stuff loads of people start killing themselves and that's pretty much it. Now as it was a little confusing it was still a damn good movie with the effect of loads of violence and gore, not to mention the occasion of a roll of their skin before they go off killing themselves.
